Your start as a paid member

Your game idea.
A personal plan.
Let’s build it together.

When your paid membership begins, we’ll book a one-to-one call to turn your concept into a practical plan around your experience, tools and available time.

01

A 30-minute call with me

We’ll talk through your concept, where you’re starting and what you need help with. This is a one-time onboarding call to give your project a clear direction.

02

A plan that fits you

We’ll agree the scope of your first playable version and map out manageable daily steps. You’ll know what to build, which tools to use and what to focus on next.

03

Feedback on your actual game

Start a project post in the community and keep your progress there. Share screenshots, questions and playable builds so I can help and other members can playtest.

04

A first release to work towards

Our goal is to publish your first playable version on itch.io within seven days of our call, with the scope we agree and your active participation. We’ll build, test and fix together.

Your path through the club

An idea is the beginning.
Publishing is a milestone.

Build something playable. Put it in front of people. Use their feedback to make it better.

Your game roadmap: join and connect, build your game, repeat feedback, fixes and playtests, publish on itch.io, collect comments and ratings, then choose another game or an optional platform such as Steam, App Store or Google Play.

Every level has a starting point

Bring your curiosity.
Or bring your build.

NEW TO MAKING GAMES?

Your first step is clear.

Start with one idea, one mechanic and one objective. The beginner lessons walk you through setting up your tools and asking for your first playable prototype.

ALREADY BUILDING SOMETHING?

Let’s move it forward.

Post what you’ve made, what you tried and the part that’s holding you up. Bring your build for feedback and playtesting, then work towards publishing it.

Pixel art and 2D games are our home base. Other styles, 3D projects and every genre are welcome too.

Isa, the creator of AI Game Makers Club, wearing the community T-shirt

Your host, and a fellow maker

Hi, I’m Isa.

Software engineer. Designer.
Game developer. Always making something.

I’ve worked in software development for 8+ years and studied game development and graphic design. Now I build games with AI as my co-dev and share the process on YouTube.

The stories and art / level design direction are mine. AI helps me build the sprites, code and sound. Inside the club, I show how that comes together and help you work through your own project.

From my own workbench

The process leads somewhere.

Three different games I’ve built with AI. Your game can have its own look, story and mechanics.

Before you jump in

A few useful answers.

How does the personal call work?

When your paid membership begins, we’ll arrange a 30-minute one-to-one call. Bring your idea or current build, tell me about your experience, tools and available time, and we’ll create your first project plan. This is one initial call per paid member. Ongoing feedback happens in the community.

What does the seven-day goal mean?

We aim to publish a first playable version on itch.io within seven days after your concept call. In the call, we’ll choose a scope that fits that goal and the time you can put in. You’ll need to build, share progress and work through feedback. Larger ideas begin with a focused playable version; the schedule depends on the agreed scope and your participation.

What happens after my first release?

We keep building. Use player feedback to improve or expand your game, explore another platform when it makes sense, or start your next idea. Your membership continues to include the Classroom, project feedback, community playtests and live conversations.

Do I need to know how to code?

No coding experience is needed to start. Open the welcome module, then follow “Your First Playable Game”. You’ll learn to describe your game clearly, test what the AI builds and understand what needs to change.

Which tools will I need?

A computer and access to Claude Code or Codex. Our beginner browser-game path uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript, so you can start without learning a game engine first. The Classroom includes practical prompts, reference lessons and links to the tools I use and build. We also explore AI art, sprite, voice and music tools as your project needs them. Tool subscriptions are separate from membership.

Is this just for pixel art or horror games?

No. Pixel art and 2D games are our home base, but the club welcomes different styles and genres. Bring the game you want to make, including music, puzzle, cosy, action or 3D projects.

What if I already have a game in progress?

Bring it. We can use your concept call to plan the next playable milestone. Share a build or screenshot in your project post, explain the problem you’re solving and ask for focused feedback. You don’t need to restart with the beginner course.

Where do we publish?

Our first publishing path is itch.io. Once your game is tested, you can decide whether to expand it or start your next project. Steam, the App Store and Google Play are optional next steps, with their own technical requirements, accounts, fees and review processes.

Where does the community happen?

On Skool. That’s where you’ll find the Classroom, General discussion, project posts, playtests and live-session calendar. Keep your build and feedback in your project post so everyone can follow along and learn. This page is your introduction to the club.
